It's voting time in Scotland.

Link
Couldn't have put it better myself. For those of you that are 'activists' and vote Labour, fair enough. Not much point trying to change your mind.
Link
For those of you that vote Labour because your Dad's Dad used to live next door to a miner and you've always voted labour, have a look around and ask yourself,

"What has Labour really done for us?"

In Scotland, this is real Labour. Watch what decades of Labour rules has done to our country here.

I'm not going to tell you who to vote for. As far as I am concerned they are all cunts.

It's just that some are more cunty than others.

Well , Rab , I agree .

I'm sitting here in the house trying to psych myself up to vote SNP - just to spite the Labour bastards .

It'll have to be Conservative for the list vote , though . If you're as middle aged as me there's something about that Margaret Mitchell !

Posh birds Mmm.

I want to vote UKIP , but they've no chance .

I was also intrigued by the Scottish Homeland Party's similarities with National Socialism . Nadia Rosenberg is a bit too Jewish-sounding for their candidate's name ,though , I would have thought .

Hi mark, when I get the time I try to put a post up. I can't post as much as I would like.

Congratulations Rab! I've absolutely no doubt that it was this very post that swung it.

Spot on Rab (welcome back by the way).

For once I admire the Scottish electorate. On Thursday it appears a conscious decision was made by a majority of those those voting to get it right up Labour. The few right wingers I know bit the pillow and voted SNP in their constituencies and Tory in the list. It seems many Labour supporters did the same (although maybe not the Tory-list part).

Labour shall no longer consider Scotland its fiefdom. I'm concerned at the extent of the Nats' majority, and I was hoping they would fall perhaps 6 or 7 seats short so they would have to rely on the Tories, but I'm comforted by the better of two evils aspect. There are elements on the SNP program right-wingers can live with and hopefully those will soften the blow of the inevitable paternalistic nonsense to follow(minimum pricing and god knows whatever else to smokers).

Oligarch- Lord Monckton was standing for UKIP on the Mid-Scotland list. If I thought he had a chance I would have given him my vote.
