Yes, today is supposed to be St George's Day since the Easter weekend took precedence but most of us went for it on the 23rd anyway. Still, no reason why we English can't have two this year ;-) Thanks for the wishes, though I suspect we're only slightly further forward than when you wrote your post.
That is one of your best ever posts RR, and I shared your bewilderment at my fellow Englishmen and their apathy as our country is denigrated, dismembered and eviscerated by the craven politicians.
Great post that was, of course since then the Ironcally named Labour party affiliated sturm abteilung, "Unite Against Fascism" has been mobilsed against anyone carrying an English flag. We keep on trying, I think the penny is starting to drop.

I'm doing both, can't be too careful with these things :) Though I'm sticking with the 23rd as the real one.
