The BBC are 'at it'.

Made with compressed £50 notes...

You may be aware that the BBC have to make cuts of around £600 million and in order to help achieve this minor saving they apparently are closing down two radio stations and scaling back their web presence.

The Times have got their hands on a detailed report, no doubt leaked to them by some Beeboid as part of a campaign to get more tax payers money.

Already online campaigns have sprung up to 'save' the radio stations under threat. Twitter is awash with people bleating on about it.

Just what the BBC wanted. The fools have played right into their hands, in my opinion.

In other news, the BBC can't control their building budgets. The extension to Television Centre is £100 million over budget and the HQ for BBC Scotland was a year late in opening and was £62 million over budget.

I pass by the studios in Glasgow fairly regularly and just along the road is the HQ of it's commercial rival in Scotland, STV. It is also a new building but it is around a fifth of the size of the BBC building. Funny how those who can spend other peoples money have the shiniest baubles. And can go over budget.

And as a wee footnote, it looks like someone forgot to incorporate a car park for the Beeb in Scotland, judging by the amount of cars abandoned all along Pacific Drive, even at the roundabout.

I suppose with having autocue readers on £192,000 a year there's not much left for radio stations. It would balance things out if all BBC Radio was scrapped. They're blatantly biased in favour of Newliebour, the EU, global warming scams, multiculturalism, the Union and mass immigration .

I am all for rounding the TV licence fee up to the nearest £thousand.

Only two? It's a start, I suppose.

As for the car park, they probably decided they didn't need one after their experiences at Queen Margaret Drive. I live about ten minutes' walk from the old BBC HQ (now mercifully flattened; it's quite, quite beautiful) and I once saw a woman emerge from the building, eventually, as I was beginning to feel she might think I was stalking her, getting into a car parked right at my door. The daytime parking situation around the West End has improved noticeably since the Beeb left.

Car parks? They don't need no steenking car parks...

And frequently send more staff to report on sporting events, than the UK sends competitors....

Radio Scotland is the worst for anti SNP bias. Tonight we heard how Alex Salmond was upset about the conduct of SPT executives (strathclyde passenger transport - quango) conduct. Trying to tie it into an SNP problem.
No mention of the fact that it was Labour councillors taking thousands of pounds in jollies around the globe and when they were eventually brought to book they all claimed 'illness' and resigned from the quango. They somehow managed to struggle on with their council duties of course.
Oh and god knows how much the winter olympics cost to stage. Twice as many beeboids as athletes and one medal so far. A medal in a sport no one has heard of by an athlete no one has heard of. And mostly played out at 3am.
