A Prime Ministers favourite card...

From Monopoly, EU edition

The leader of Blue Labour, David Cameron, has fooled no one. Not even himself.

All his words the other day mean nothing. I know it, you know it and the Tory grass roots know it.

Barring a miracle, he will be the next Prime Minister.

But he is not a 'prime minister in waiting', he is a traitor in waiting. Another Gordon Brown, except with two good eyes. That's the only difference I can see. A career politician with the top job nearly his. As dangerous to this country as Gordon and his cronies have proven to be.

The 'grudged acceptance' of the Lisbon Treaty he acted out the other day, along with the referendum U turn actually suits him down to the ground.

Think about it. It suits Gordon as well.

It takes the heat off of them. They can wash their hands of any issues the the EU have a say in. They can shrug their shoulders and point at Brussels. 'Not my fault', will be the cry, 'a big boy did it and ran away'.

Why would the big political boys here in the UK try to rock the boat when it has the potential to make their political lives easier?

They spout speeches, give press conferences, write newspaper articles. Saying this and that. Then the crunch comes and they back track. Talking the talk but not walking the walk. 'It's too late, that ship has already sailed'.

Nonsense. All they have to say is no. Stuff their 'treaties' and rules. Just a no would be enough, after a referendum. (A proper referendum, not the version the Irish were shafted with).

But it will never happen. Because being tied up in knots by the EU suits them down to the ground.

If Labour's final throw takes us into the Euro Zone, Cameron will have nowhere to go and too few options.

Well said Rab. The man is just a Tone clone; a steaming lying pile of shite.

Can't argue with that.

Well said, Rab! The only thing to do now is to leave the EU completely - that's the referendum most people really want, I think, and we could trade with Europe as we used to do and remove all Brussels scheming and conspiring from our daily lives!
Cameron's election would be assured if he decides to grow a pair!
