If I was in the car that he bullied I would have dragged the bastard out of his cab by the nose hairs!

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years.
No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.
He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:
Knowing when to come in out of the rain;
Why the early bird gets the worm;
Realising that life isn't always fair.
Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).
His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but
overbearing regulations were set in place.
Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate;
Teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch;
A teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.
Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.
It declined even further when schools were required to get parental
consent to administer sunscreen or an Aspirin to a student; but could
not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.
Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.
Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.
Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot.
She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.
Common Sense was predeceased
by his parents, Truth and Trust;
by his wife, Discretion;
by his daughter, Responsibility and
by his son, Reason.
He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers:
I Know My Rights
I Want It Now
Someone Else Is To Blame
I am a Victim
Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.

Number ten's response to petition.
Wednesday 4 November 2009
--------------------------------------------------------------------
No matter. He'll be out on his arse come election time.
please-go - epetition response
We received a petition asking:
“We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to resign.”
Details of Petition:
“There are many reasons why we might want Brown to resign, but rather than having lots of narrow petitions on this topic (most of which have been rejected), I wanted one for all of us.”
• Read the petition
• Petitions homepage
Read the Government’s response
The Prime Minister is completely focussed on restoring the economy, getting people back to work and improving standards in public services. As the Prime Minister has consistently said, he is determined to build a stronger, fairer, better Britain for all.--------------------------------------------------------------------
No matter. He'll be out on his arse come election time.
Not with our money!!

'What do we want? - TAX PAYERS MONEY!'
'When do we want it? - NOW!'
(Glasgow looks remarkably like Washington DC these days...)
Protesters in Glasgow have staged a candlelight protest outside a theatre which is staging a play portraying Jesus as a trannie. (Not a small portable radio, the other kind...).
Fair enough, they have the right to protest just as the theatre group have the right to stage the play. I couldn't give a toss. But...
The play is part of a festival called 'Glasgay'. Yep, you guessed it. Glasgow's very own festival of bumming, rug munching and wanting to cut your knob off. Again, fairy enough, (did you see what I did there?), who am I to criticise if that floats your boat.
The festival is being funded by Glasgow City Council, (which in turn is funded by the tax payer), and the Scottish Arts Council, (which is receiving £48,140,000 of it's £61, 060,000 budget this year from the Scottish Government, other wise known as the tax payer).
So, council tax payers of Glasgow, next time you walk past a school badly in need of repairs or a community centre ear marked for closure bear in mind come election time the priorities of your Labour led council.
Update - there is also this.
Bastards.

Global warming loons do not like it up 'em.
Watch the video to see how a dissenting voice against the 'global warming' nonsense is dealt with.
The chap asking Al Gore the question is Phelim McAleer, who made the documentary 'Not Evil, Just Wrong'.
His documentary challenged the facts behind Gore's film, 'An Inconvenient Truth'. Al Gore's film is currently shown to American and British schoolchildren as part of their education.
As with many other 'causes' the global warming loons do not tolerate any opposition. Mr McAleer and his family have received death threats and abusive letters for daring to point out glaring errors in Gore's movie.
Thought crimes will not be tolerated.

They just don't get it, do they?
It is either breathtaking stupidity or breathtaking arrogance that the Scottish Parliament Corporate Body has agreed that any claims by MSP's for poppy wreaths will be treated as a 'legitimate expense'.
The SPCB is made up of an MSP from each of the four main parties and the Hollyrood presiding officer, Alex Ferguson.
In a spectacular own goal, they have given the green light to claiming for poppy wreaths, which cost an average of £16. An MSP earns around £53,000 a year. Plus expenses of course.
You would have thought that they would have kept their collective heads down and wised up. But no.
Members of the SPCB are -
Send them an e mail. I have.
Dear Parasite,
Imagine my surprise when I read that you and pals on the SPCB saw fit to allow the claiming of poppy wreaths by MSP's as a 'legitimate expense'.
I'm not sure if you are aware, but the reputation of politicians has taken a few knocks of late.
So, are you completely stupid? Or is it just plain old arrogance and disdain for those you are supposed to serve/represent?
I hope your constituents remember your part in this come election time.
My readers would be interested in any comments you have on the matter.
love and kisses,
Rab.
I've sent them a link to this post too. I'm sure they will read the comments. Let them know your thoughts!!
update - I forgot to link to the story. It's here.
