It's business as usual

Just the same....

When Liebore were pulled away, kicking and screaming, from the levers of power my heart skipped a little beat. I hoped that things would change for the better.

Well, after a lot of meaningless words it would seem that things are not going to change for the better after all

So, I declare that the honeymoon period amnesty is over. Fuck Cameron. Fuck Clegg. Fuck the ConDem Abomination. Fuck them all.

The phony war is over, let battle commence.

update - I see Obo feels the same.

Bloody hell, Ranty, it's barely 13 weeks after 13 years. Keep the powder dry is my motto!

Yep I agree with you Rab.

We always think... it will be better; things will change... but they never do.

In theory by the age of 30 we should have given up expecting it to change, but then there's something about the triumph of hope over adversity or something or other... and that's probably what makes us want to believe that things will be better....

... that and the fact that we can hardly believe that they will get worse, but somehow they do.

Oh well I look forward to your rants...

Tris, I honestly really try hard not to swear as I read somewhere it shows a lack of intellect and vocabulary but I can feel the rage rising once more...

It's a bit like getting married for a second time after a messy and bitter divorce.
The triumph of hope over experience.

Could all potentialy murderous car drivers, we know who and where you are, be on the lookout for this man as he is on the rampage with a gun and shooting people to death but we can't seem to find him. Now if we had more CCTV and a larger database...

Don't disagree that the Tory/Lib Dem alliance is gonna be shite, but when your linking from the Guardian newspaper, it's rather like linking the Daily Mail for a story when New Labour were in power. You know that there's some semblance of truth in the story, but it's just a question of sifting through to find it.

Have been saying since they got in that there is no room for a honeymoon period, the future of our nation is at stake, ergo get to work and get it right first time!
They however had no intention of doing what is right!

Think Cameron is bad? Some people think Chavez would make a better prime minister!

Rab...

We've all heard that swearing shows a lack of intellect, but I suspect it was what Nanny told one when one was little to discourage one from saying "F***"... It ain't true, trust me, I'm brilliant and I swear like a navvie.

Hope over experience is the expression I was looking for... duh, clearly not that brilliant then.

Dazed.... did you hint that somewhere in a Daily Mail story there might be a hint of a fact? Mind you, they get the date right ...mostly.
