What really happened then?

Belfast

I wonder what actually happened in Belfast that triggered the unpleasantness of the past week or so.

I, for one, do not believe it was a 'racist' attack. Clearly, the righteous BBC have worked themselves into a foaming mass of right on rage and as far as they are concerned it is all the work of racist thugs. It is their lead story, after all.

Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness said it was a "totally shameful episode" in the city. Which is a bit rich coming from that murdering bastard.

There is always a reason for this sort of behaviour. Let´s be honest, what on earth are these people doing in Belfast? Are they working? If they are, fine, if not, they should take their broods and go back to Romania!

After the last 11 years of uncontrolled immigration and now the credit crunch, people are losing their tempers.

They feel they are not allowed to say anything incase it´s construed as "racist" and politicians are not concerned about the things that worry people.

When I arrived here in Spain, the Town Hall told me in no uncertain terms that if I wanted to open a business, that I would have to employ Spanish people first...

Not what you would expect as part of the EU politically correct agenda but it is what nevertheless happened.

Well said Rab, Martin McGuinness I mean. does this murdering cunt have no shame? Yesterday's terrorist is today's font of all wisdom eh.

OK, I'm a proddy but I'd rather take lessons from a suicide bomber than listen to what that man has to say about racism, let alone sectarianism!

Things like this just don't just happen. They are the result of weeks probably months of rising tension at perceived injustices suffered by the indigenous natives.
The same happened in London at Broadwater Farm. Senior police officers had been told for weeks that tensions were rising but chose to ignore the warning signs.
Seems to me the same has happened here.

A comment in one paper from a Belfast local, stated that these Romanians are Roma Gypsies, who do not work, but beg with their weens, on the street. The taxpayer has housed them, and is hosing benefits at them.

Good old UK. Cares for all the useless dross that lands on its shores. Fuck the natives.

They now say they want to go home, but NIO sorting new houses for the scum, should be getting 40foot lorry and packing the cunts off the same way they got here

DaveP, if this is correct, then fair play to the locals. We had eastern europeans flood our area holding snotty kids and begging for money. No place was safe from the invasion.

One even rented a house which the council paid and tried to claim from the landlord 7500 for breaking the enjoyment of peace rule.

If the Irish have had enough, its probably because of this rather than their race. Especially if 100 families are leaving.

Don't expect the BBC to look behind the headlines for the true reason for the attacks.
Like climate change bollox they've made up their minds and they will never allow an alternative view to be aired.

Apparently the Romas that arrived in Southern Ireland have turned out to be shifless bastards who feel the world owes them a living so it's possibly the same up North. I'm originally from the South & last time I was home my family & friends were practically frothing at the mouth with rage.

there's a great difference between the gyppos & the proper Romanians who, or at least the ones I know, are extremely hardworking.

I have it on good authority that they were 'politely' asked to get the fuck out of dodge some weeks ago. They ignored the request, thus the 'eviction'.
