Labour allowed this.

This is a video of the destruction of a cemetery which is then to be turned into a car park for a mosque.

A labour controlled council allowed this to happen.

The dead can't vote; the Muslims might.

I am DISGUSTED. Our country, and the people in it, are being trashed. Our civilised way of life means nothing to the socialist scum in charge, who seem to be hell bent on us becoming part of a new muslim world order.

That was the dead centre of the town too :-(

It's hard not to sound racist, but I wouldn't be happy if some of my descendents were buried there, wouldnae matter if it was for a mosque or a Tescos, it's not right. People were dying to get in there after all.

How nice to see that yet again, New Labours U.A.F. stormtroopers were behind the unrest in the streets of Britain promoting their beloved peoples of Islam.
New Labours final stand perhaps?....To induce rioting on City streets, so they can call off any elections for the forseeable future?

I assume the church is now the mosque?

Ripping up a cemetery - a bit like blowing up a statue of buddha - only this time it's yer granny.

But they're not the graves of minorities, didn't you realise they don't count?

Labour never cease finding new ways to disgust me!

Disgusting.

I hold precisely zero interest in any organised religion, however respecting the resting places of the dead is something that takes nil commitment of entertaining supernatural belief systems.

What makes this doubly concerning is that a search on Google finds precisely zero news articles on what should be a noteworthy event.

Rab, just out of curiosity: you put up a video earlier this evening of Anjem Choudary ranting about turning Britain into a muslim country. Then you took it down. Now the website http://islam4uk.com on which Anjem Choudary posts his stuff has gone blank. What's going on?

Re bloke with nadgers - captainff.

If people want to see that video it's HERE.

One version of the video was completely shut down that's all.

D and C .. .. .. cheers chap!

I've already watched it through the RSS feed of the deleted post. I'm more curious as to why Rab deleted the post .. .. ..

You can blame the council for letting this happen but youve also got to look at the issue of church attendance.
People are too 'enlightened' and clever for Christianity these days. You can't completely abandon the church and then moan when they knock the empty building down.

Joe, I don't give a toss about the church. How many churches up and down the land are now pubs?

I care about respect for the dead and what is right versus what is wrong.

I want to leave a long lengthy comment but I can't be arsed....so I will leave a short one....Its our fault...use your votes and think about who you vote for.....check out the libertarian party.

Joe Shmo said...

Fair enough Rab but your libertarian sensibilities should tell you the blame doesnt necessarily lie with the (albeit useless) Labour council. Local people should look at themselves when apportioning resposibility.
Churces and pubs. No one goes, they close down.
Maybe if we could smoke in church then...

What happened to the corpses? Did they move them or only move the headstones?

I hope they left them and the mosque is destroyed by vengeful paranormal forces, as in the movie "Poltergeist".

I wonder who's side the handwringers would come down on if we wanted to rip down a mosque to make a car park for a church. Actualy, no i dont. They would obviously come down in favour of the muslims.
Liek many of you here, i dont care about the church (i am an enlightened athiest you see), but i do care about having respect for the dead and their relatives. Those people were laid to rest by those that love them, and out of respect we should not desicrate those graves.

I spent nearly an hour hunting for the story to put a link to, but not one paper or site had it. I wonder why.
