Stick it where 'The Sun' doesn't shine!.

The rotting corpse of a dead tree, with some tits on page 3

Batten down the hatches, oh fellow bloggers and bloggerettes. The phoney war is over and the shooting war is about to begin.

The dead tree press are clearly feeling threatened and are now lashing out at the blogosphere.

Hartigan savagely dismissed blogs as, “Something of such little intellectual value as to be barely discernible from massive ignorance.”

The cunt could be describing 'The Sun' there.

That would the same Scum that is boycotted even now in Liverpool, the same vile paper that employs David Blunkett.

Would not wipe my arse ring with it.

Bloggers don’t go to jail for their work. They simply aren’t held accountable like real reporters….It could be said the blogosphere is all eyeballs and no insights,” barked Hartigan.

Since when have MSM reporters been accountable to anyone for anything?

The guy is from News International, owners of the Times, who outed NightJack. Who the fuck do they think they are?

You Bloggers are just blind to the fact that you are now mainstream. You want to be on the fringes seeking out truth, championing the ignorant or uneducated.
Problem is you don't realise it!
Compare the following statements:
I try to use spread my message as widely as possible.
It's important to me how many people get my message.
I have a view of the world not everyone shares.
I would make wide changes if I held power.
People who don't share my opinion are mistaken.

Could this be a Blogger, politician or newspaper?
Very difficult to say and that's the Bloggers ultimate paradox.

Some 'bloggers' are mainstream, but are they really bloggers? I don't think so.

Cmon rab. Your missing my point. It's not the person it's the process.
Once, maybe Bloggers had a unique voice. Now....
There's too many and you get tar'd with the same brush.

RantinRab said...

No anon, YOU are missing the point. I say what I want to say, not what some cunt who owns my paper/TV station or whatever pays me to say. Bloggers don't suck the knob of a paymaster or advertisers, the MSM does.
Blogging tells it like it is, the MSM preach the party line. Fair enough, I may have the 'occasional' rant but that's just the way it is.
Yes, there are a few mainstream blogs out there, but they aint bloggers! They are the internet section of a paper or news station, or wannabe politicians and they struggle to get words out because of the paymasters cock in their mouth or the government jockeying their arse.

Believe or dis-believe, I care not a jot. I know the truth. Where do you seek the truth? The BBC?

Anonymous said...

Rab, I don't go anywhere to seek out the truth. The fact that you say what you want is great but when many of your fellow bloggers do the same they and you become mainstream. The volume of similar anti establishment, anti government blogs means you and your like can't gauge the
Temperature of the nation as you actually influence it.
Classic observer effect for the 21st century.

Just off to buy a new box of crayons.

If I'm going to take the piss out of TheSun then I'll need to do lots of colouring-in. Still, at least I won't have to write very many words.

Cunts ;-)

The Sun of course being a serious, independent journal for fair and impartial news reportage, unlike the freaks in the blogosphere with their hysterical rantings and flagrant falsehoods. ROTFLMAO!!!!

I say Rupert should stick his opinion where the Sun doesn't shine.

He is just a Bloefeld personality.

You have a few anti-blogging anonymous visitors, Rab.

Haven't News International got any work to do? Jacko's died you know, guys. Run another story about that in your, oh so respectable, pieces of paper.

Of course Ruperts right. How dare some member of the voting class express an opinion.Whatever next!

Rab, if you ever reached further than a semi, as you said on constantly furiously's blog, your wife would have decided there's a bigger world out there. It's sad so many men think they're so adequate when us women just stay with them out of loyalty - let me assure you it's certainly not because you provide decent sex.

You've lost me Subrosa!

That one flew straight over my head, Rab - maybe she's been at the floor polish or the Brasso!?
