I read yesterday on BBC about a Lothian and Borders police officer who plead guilty to 10 out of 56 charges of improper use of police databases. Basically he was nosing, apparently his defence included "boredom".
There was a chief constable on the BBC a couple of weeks ago who reckoned he could knock 20% off his budget without any trouble if the new administration just junked all the paperwork and statistics and meaningless targets introduced by the last load of cunts...
