Boycott the Jock bastards!

'Simpletonville, Arkansas'

Have a look at this.

It seems that Cletus and his Wife/Sister have started a campaign to make Scotland 'pay' for releasing the Lockerbie bomber.

I suggest we start a similar campaign against all things American.

Let's start by not being dumb fucks and using our brain. That's Un-American!

Update - Join in the 'debate' here. (Cheers Scunnert)

Update 2 - This comment caught my eye. Remember it when you book your holiday for next year.

maybe it is time for the american people themselves to start terrorizing european nationals here, give them a taste of their own medicine. and any time any of your filthy scottish vermin want to play ball, we willplay, but remember americans own guns are will use them.

I am afraid this was inevitable. Compassion is un-American.

Should we remind America's irish contingent that they helped bankroll the IRA for decades and they killed a lot more people. I did send the dozy bugger an email but he hasn't bothered to reply. I don't why they're so keen to be rid of us lot, they haven't exactly got many friends left.

I suggest we just boycott all politicians in general because I can only name two or three who I know of that aren't complete nobheads.

Give me a good reason why any compassion should be shown toward this man. I bet those on that plane would have liked the chance to see their loved ones one last time before they died at his hand. Staying in prison is compassionate compared to what he deserves. He should suffer until his last breath.

Dillinger, because it's the law!

Conan, very good, and very valid.

Sorry for the extra comment.

Just wanted to say thanks for the post inspiration and ask this:

What do Americans buy from us normally apart from plastic bagpipes off the royal mile?

Northman said...

Well in that case maybe we should just do away with prison altogether and punish them with hugs and kisses. It does make perfect sense that terrorism will surely stop if we give them a shiatsu and a new car for blowing up planes.

Dillinger. The U.S. were the stupid bastards which started the time line which led to Lockerbie and 9/11 by bombing the Iranian airbus and then giving medals to the crews involved. For God's sake man, wake up to what's happening in the world and stop listening to the bullshit rhetoric.

Shibby said...

Dillinger, if the boycott has any effect there will be negative impact on Scottish citizens - however unintended. Many Scottish citizens completely disagree with the early release of a convicted murderer.

Negative impact on innocent citizens being the result, this would also give us the right to boycott the USA and have a negative impact on millions of citizens there who strongly disagree with their own government's atrocities.

My point being, boycotting Scotland is a cruel idea that leaves bystanders in the line of fire.

I never said a word about agreeing that boycotting Scotland would do anything positive. Blaming the U.S.? And I'm the one listening to the bullshit rhetoric. Blame the U.S. for everything. I don't agree with much of what our government does but when you finally get turned into Britanistan you better hope we're still standing because otherwise you're going to be fucked. Simply "because it's law" does not mean it's a well thought out, or positive step to release this person. This is yet another step down the wrong path. It's not just Scotland, not just the UK, not just the U.S. The blame is widespread. Terrorists should simply never be rewarded with compassion in any way. That, is my lone point. You take the lives of two hundred some odd people you should never see daylight again for any reason.

Rab,

Any chance you can use your influence to persuade the Yanks that Cambridge is in Scotland too?

I'd be only too fucking glad if they decided to stop coming here.

An enlightened friend of mine has just returned for America......from his reports it is a country well worth boycotting......then bombing.

A cultureless cesspit with an average IQ of 20.

Some very bad breeding went on there....

Compassion?

This fucker should only ever have left prison in a chipboard overcoat.

Releasing his is an utterly shameful act, oil and gas or not.

How did Asbo Basset and Al McGrahey both get bowel cancer at the same time I want to know. Bloody Scottish cooking no doubt!

Everyone should boycott everybody. Problem solved.

Phreddie, it must be the deep fried Mars Bars. I thought you played well in the Ashes Test but you were a bit outgunned by the new boy. Good luck with the operation.

Why does this whole thing seem to bring out the stupidest and most bigoted from both sides? Our plant manager is a transplanted Scot. He put his own professional reputation on the line to keep our plant open when he could have just walked away and gone back to Scotland with his family. While he may be a ManU supporter he's still a hell of a guy. And obviously he doesn't carry the prejudices I see in these comments because not only is he still here but his daughters are going to american universities. And for the record, this American happens to know that our first naval hero was a scot. And how much we owe to Adam Smith . And that while this decision is the fault of a scot, he happens to be the one at No.10. Oh, and the verdict would have been overturned on appeal in most american appellate courts. A point our press seems to have missed completely.

Like reality TV, I have an incredibly low cringe threshold for populist internet 'discussions', be it that one, the beeb HYS or the comments on Daily Mail articles. It just seems to brings out every countries' entrant in the World Twat Championship.

You can tell by looking at the title:
"Hmm this discussion is going to be Cuntsoup."
